Portfolio Audio + Visual Samples
A collection of audio-visual samples that demonstrate the student’s range of skills. This portfolio should include music scores, soundtracks, and relevant media production work.
Any work that includes copyrighted material (such as a re-scoring of a scene from a Netflix show) should be hidden behind a password-protected page.
- Film/TV scene re-scores (password-protected if copyrighted)
- Original cues and themes
- Game audio examples (SFX + music)
- Mixing/mastering before & after samples
If you’re hosting on a typical web server, you can protect a folder with an .htaccess / password file.
If you're on a platform site-builder, use their built-in “password page” feature.
Electronic Press Kit (EPK) Professional Snapshot
An EPK is a professionally compiled document that includes a bio, professional headshot, project highlights, testimonials, and reviews. This serves as a marketing tool for potential employers, collaborators, and media outlets.
- Short bio + longer bio
- Professional headshot
- Project highlights (credits, roles, outcomes)
- Testimonials + reviews
- One “quick facts” panel (location, genres, tools)
Include a PDF link and a short “press-ready” folder. Bonus points for a one-page summary and a longer version.
Contact Information Make it easy
An easy-to-find section with contact details or a simple form makes it easier for collaborators, clients, or employers to reach out without detective work.
- Email: hello@terraficmusic.com
- Location: City, State
- Availability: Accepting new projects
Links to Social Media Accounts Easy Networking
Add embedded and direct links to all social media profiles for consistency and ease of networking.
Keep usernames consistent. If you’re using a link-in-bio, make sure it doesn’t look like a cluttered garage sale.
